The APOM Research Referral Program rewards advocates, attorneys, and professionals who connect qualified clients with our federal-grade OSINT investigation services.
Eligibility & Terms
Who Can Participate
Open to:
Attorneys and legal professionals
Victim advocates and nonprofit organizations
Professional investigators and consultants
Individuals who know someone needing investigation services
Referral Fee Structure
10% of first project fee, paid after project completion and final payment received from client.
$10,000 Local Law Enforcement Package → $1,000 referral bonus
$5,000 Evidence Review → $500 referral bonus
Payment Timeline
Referral fees paid within 30 days of receiving final payment from the referred client.
Payment Methods
Referral fees paid via:
Wire transfer (preferred - banking details required)
Zelle (subject to platform limits - may require multiple payments for amounts over $2,000)
Exclusions & Limitations
What Does NOT Qualify
Self-referrals (referring yourself as a client)
Existing prospects already in contact with APOM Research
Clients referred by multiple sources (first referrer receives fee)
Ongoing work or repeat projects (initial project only)
One Fee Per Client
Referral fee applies to the first project only. Subsequent projects or ongoing retainer work do not generate additional referral fees.
New Clients Only
To qualify, the referred party must be a new client who has not previously contacted APOM Research or been referred by another source.

How to Submit a Referral

Brief case description (1-2 sentences)
How you know the client
Your preferred payment method
Referral Tracking
APOM Research will:
Confirm receipt of your referral within 48 hours
Notify you when the referred client schedules a consultation
Update you when a contract is signed
Process payment within 30 days of final client payment
Confidentiality
All referral information remains confidential. We will not disclose that you referred the client without your explicit permission.
Tax & Legal
Tax Reporting
Referral fees totaling $600 or more in a calendar year will be reported to the IRS via Form 1099-NEC. You will receive a copy by January 31 of the following year.
Independent Contractor Status
Referral participants are independent contractors, not employees of APOM Research. You are responsible for your own tax obligations on referral income received.
No Guarantee of Payment
Referral fees are contingent upon:
Client signing a contract with APOM Research
Project being completed
Final payment received from client
If a client does not proceed, cancels mid-project, or fails to pay, no referral fee is owed.
Program Modifications
Right to Modify or Discontinue
APOM Research reserves the right to modify referral fee percentages, terms, or discontinue the program entirely with 30 days written notice to active participants.
Grandfathering
Referrals submitted before program changes take effect will be honored under the original terms.
Ethical Standards
Professional Conduct
Participants must:
Make honest, accurate representations about APOM Research services
Not make guarantees about investigation outcomes
Disclose referral relationship if required by professional ethics rules
Comply with all applicable bar rules, professional codes, and laws
Conflicts of Interest
Attorneys must ensure referral arrangements comply with their jurisdiction's ethics rules regarding client referrals and fee sharing.
