Program Overview

Purpose

The APOM Research Referral Program rewards advocates, attorneys, and professionals who connect qualified clients with our federal-grade OSINT investigation services.

Referral Fee Structure

10% of first project fee, paid after project completion and final payment received from client.

What Does NOT Qualify

One Fee Per Client

Referral fee applies to the first project only. Subsequent projects or ongoing retainer work do not generate additional referral fees.

New Clients Only

To qualify, the referred party must be a new client who has not previously contacted APOM Research or been referred by another source.

All referral information remains confidential. We will not disclose that you referred the client without your explicit permission.

Tax & Legal

Tax Reporting

Referral fees totaling $600 or more in a calendar year will be reported to the IRS via Form 1099-NEC. You will receive a copy by January 31 of the following year.

Independent Contractor Status

Referral participants are independent contractors, not employees of APOM Research. You are responsible for your own tax obligations on referral income received.

No Guarantee of Payment

Referral fees are contingent upon:

If a client does not proceed, cancels mid-project, or fails to pay, no referral fee is owed.

Program Modifications

Right to Modify or Discontinue

APOM Research reserves the right to modify referral fee percentages, terms, or discontinue the program entirely with 30 days written notice to active participants.

Grandfathering

Referrals submitted before program changes take effect will be honored under the original terms.

Participants must:

Attorneys must ensure referral arrangements comply with their jurisdiction's ethics rules regarding client referrals and fee sharing.
