Who We Are
APOM Research is a professional OSINT investigation and digital forensics practice operated by Kyērstin O'Neal. We serve family law attorneys, survivors of technology-facilitated abuse, and related clients.

Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and limited technical data collected automatically.
Information you provide directly:
- Name, email address, and case description when you contact us via email
- Scheduling information when you book a consultation through Calendly
- Payment information when you purchase products through Kit (handled by Kit's platform)
- Referral information submitted via email
Information collected automatically:
- Page views and basic traffic data via Plausible Analytics (see below)
We do not run contact forms that collect data on this website. All direct contact is via email or third-party scheduling tools.
Analytics: Plausible
This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that is fully GDPR compliant. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track individuals across websites, and does not collect personal data.
The data Plausible collects is limited to: page URL, referrer source, browser type, operating system, and country. No IP addresses are stored. No personal identifiers are used.
Third-Party Services
This website uses the following third-party services:
- Calendly — used for scheduling consultations. When you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email, and scheduling preferences. See Calendly's Privacy Policy.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — used to deliver digital products (Evidence Toolkit, Subpoena Templates). Purchases are subject to Kit's privacy terms. See Kit's Privacy Policy.
- LinkedIn — linked from the footer. Visiting LinkedIn is subject to LinkedIn's own privacy practices.
- GitHub Pages — this website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may collect standard server log data per their privacy policy.
Cookies
This website does not place cookies on your device. Plausible Analytics operates without cookies. If you use Calendly to schedule a call, Calendly may set its own cookies on that domain.
Client Confidentiality
Information shared during consultations or in the course of an engagement is held in strict professional confidence. Case details, evidence, and client identities are never disclosed to third parties without your explicit written consent, except as required by law.
Work product may be structured to support attorney-client privilege where applicable. Please discuss this with your attorney.
Data Retention
Email correspondence is retained for business record purposes. Scheduling data is managed by Calendly per their retention policies. Product purchase records are managed by Kit per their policies.
If you wish to have email correspondence deleted, contact us at hello@apomarchives.com and we will accommodate reasonable requests.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws, including:
- The right to know what information we hold about you
- The right to request deletion of your personal data
- The right to opt out of data sale (we do not sell data)
- The right to data portability

Children's Privacy
This website and its services are intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect information transmitted to us. All email communication is end-to-end encrypted where possible. We do not store sensitive case information on this website.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of this website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
